Loretta is an education consultant and advisor with over 15 years of experience as classroom teacher, school leader, instructional coach, curriculum implementation partner, and non-profit director. She launched her own business in 2023 to expand her impact with partners across the country who are committed to the pursuit of equitable instruction. Loretta is masterful at building relationships and collaborating with partners to expand their understanding of their current state and plans to better serve their students. She provides strategic planning, coaching, professional development, and advising using a wide set of data and tools to address the many factors that influence student learning.
Loretta began career as an elementary school teacher in New York and taught for six years in a variety of general and special education settings. Loretta brought her knowledge of different student needs to her roles as an Academic Director and Principal where she led her teams to implement new curriculum and teaching strategies to support all learners with access to grade-level materials. She has advised numerous school and district leaders to do the same in their efforts to leverage high-quality instructional materials to give their students the resources and learning environments they deserve. Loretta is a champion and advocate for the pursuit for educational equity for all historically marginalized groups, and for Black students in particular.
