Services

Leader coaching is offered to school or district individual or teams on a bi-weekly, monthly basis, or quarterly basis. Sessions can occur in-person or virtually. Leadership coaching partnerships include 3-5 learning walks throughout the school year where leaders complete a landscape analysis and progress monitor instructional improvement goals. Coaching sessions are designed to build the knowledge, skills, and habits necessary to improve literacy and math teaching and learning. Coaching goals and schedules are individualized and rooted in district and/or school goals and leadership development needs. 

Leadership Coaching partnerships typically include:

• Setting a vision for excellent instruction based on components of high-quality curriculum, grade-level standards, and classroom observation tools
• Identification of strengths and areas for improvement at the the teacher, grade, school, and/or district level and progress monitoring activities
• Planning, modeling, and debriefing classroom observation and feedback to maximize the impact and efficiency of leaders' time in schools/classrooms 
• Analysis of student and teacher interactions and classroom structures and routines that impact teaching and learning 
• Beginning, middle, and end of year reports detailing progress towards our partnership goals to share with staff, leadership team, and/or other stakeholders

Teacher development is offered through 1:1 teacher coaching, grade-level PLCs, and/or workshops. Sessions can occur in-person or virtually.  Sessions can occur in-person or virtually. Coaching sessions are designed to build the knowledge, skills, and habits necessary to improve literacy or math teaching and learning. Teacher coaching partnerships include 5-10 classroom observations throughout the school year where teachers received targeted feedback.  Coaching goals and schedules are individualized and rooted in teacher growth areas and student learning data. 

Teacher Development partnerships typically include: 

• Study of curriculum, content and standards to understand what grade-level instruction includes at the lesson and unit level
• Setting goals to improve instructional strategies and student learning
• Co-planning and rehearsing lesson activities to prepare for instruction 
• Identifying the strengths and needs of learners planning effective differentiation techniques and tasks
• Analyzing formal and informal student data

Curriculum and materials reviews are offered to schools, districts, non-profits, and publishers seeking to identify the strengths, limitations and potential challenges of K-5 literacy and math curriculum. 

Curriculum Review partnerships typically include: 

• Norming on goals/a rubric for evaluation of materials 
• Reports that include a summary of strengths, limitations, and potential challenges for different school or district settings

• Planning for committee review of materials and preparing a process select and launch implementation of new materials 
• Completing a landscape analysis to identify which type of materials would be most aligned with current structures and systems
